1.Description
Mode-JCRCD-200 C is a multipurpose drill rig capable of performing Diamond Core cum DTH cum Rotary Drilling mounted on Crawler with top head drive, Hydraulics driven by Deck Engine. This drill pack also can be mounted on Trailer or Slid or Truck.

5. Mast
The channel type mast is made out of structural steel, heavy duty welded construction, reinforced with suitable cross members, capable of withstanding all drilling loads. The mast is capable of handling 3 meters (10’) drill pipes and casing pipes. The drill rig is provided with the level indicators. The Hydraulic Chuck of disc spring clamp type is located on the top of the drill spindle with suitable axial holding capacity to hold the drill pipes. Pivoting type, manual actuated top head drive can be swung out.
7. Hydraulic System
An efficiently designed hydraulic system is provided to operate rotation, feed, jacks and mast raising cylinders, Main Winch and breakout wrenches, Mud pump. The system is operated with variable displacement pump & mounted on the Deck Engine .The hydraulic system includes fin type Hydraulic oil cooler with a capacity of 65 GPM suitable for 50 deg. Centigrade ambient, high pressure hydraulic hoses, control valves, gauges etc. for efficient operations. Hydraulic reservoir of capacity of 200 liters located conveniently, suction strainer is provided to avoid foreign particle entering the suction line and the plump return line is provided filtration with 40micron element. A suitable Axial piston variable displacement triplex pumps with load sensing system is provided for rotation, feed, auxiliary system etc.
8. Stabilizers (Jacks)
Hydraulic operated leveling jacks of 300mm stroke x 80mm?x50mm? (stroke) 4 numbers is provided with suitable leveling arrangement and double lock check valves (locking devices) and is located at convenient place for fast and accurate leveling.
9. Foot Clamp
Hydraulically operated foot clamp with two hydraulic cylinders and clamps will hold the drill pipes firmly while breaking.
10. Control Panel
Centralized control panel is located at convenient place on the drill to enable the driller for efficient control of the operation. All levers, valves and gauges are conveniently grouped. The control for setting up of rig is grouped in such a way to prevent accidental operation while drilling. A lockable steel cover (Control Panel Cover) is provided for the control panel to protect gauges and controls during the transportation. Gauges to include rotation control, feed control. Hold back control, air pressure control and includes emergency shutdown switch for the engine.
11. Main Winch

MTM Rigs
DESCRIPTION
JCR MTM-500 DTHR combination Drill Rig mounted on Tata Truck 407 (4 X 4 wheel drive) with top head drive, hydraulics driven by tractor engine is capable of drilling 150mtrs.
CAPACITY
The rig is capable of drilling 175Mtrs dia bore by over burden drilling to a depth of 20 to 25 mtrs in soft/unconsolidated formation, and 125/115 mm bore to depth of 90 mtrs and 150 mm dia bore to a depth of 75 mtrs by DTH method in hard rock and abrasive formation.
DIRECT ROTARY DRILLING
350mm dia hole by mud rotary (Direct Rotary) method by reaming in alluvial /sandy, soft medium and collapsible formation upto 60-75 mtrs.Depth.
Note: Above drilling capacities are possible under favourable drilling conditions only.
MAST
The mast is made of heavy duty welded, construction reinforced with suitable cross members (plates) confirming to IS standard so that it is strong enough to with stand the high drilling loads.
The Mast is capable of handling 3 mtrs (10 feet) long drill pipe and 3 mtrs long casing pipe. The rig will be provided with level indicators for proper leveling. The mast is raised and lowered by means of suitable capacity hydraulic cylinders. The mast is equipped with sufficient arrangements during night drilling. The lifting of drill rods is provided hydraulically lifting arrangements.
TOP HEAD ROTARY HEAD
Hydraulically operated top drive rotary head having variable speed range of 0-100 rpm and capable of giving a torque of about 340 Kg/M. The rotary head is swing out and hydraulically operated sliding arrangements to enable easy handling.
MUD SWIVEL
A separate air/mud swivel is provided to prevent the accidental entry of air/mud in rotary head.
FEED SYSTEM
Heavy duty, strength, single hydraulic cylinder is provided to accommodate 3Mtrs (ID) long drill pipes and to handle 3Mtrs casing pipes. The pull back is of 6620 kg and the pull down capacity will be 4100 kg. The feed system incorporate having arrangement to control and limit weight on the drilling bit. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
An efficiently designed hydraulic system is provided to operate rotation, feed, jacks mast raising cylinders, break out wrenches, water/foam injection pump. The system is operated with Tractor Engine. The system incorporates full release filtration, in tank return and suction filters and an efficient oil system to obtain long hydraulic system.
The hydraulic system includes hydraulic Oil Cooler suitable for 50 degree Centigrade ambient, high pressure hydraulic hoses, control valves, gauges etc. for efficient operations. A Hydraulic system of adequate capacity is to be provided at a conventional location and it is always remain under go to prevent entry of dust particles. Gear type pump is provided.

STABILIZERS (JACKS)

BREAK OUT SYSTEM
Break out Wrench: Hydraulic break out wrench cylinder is provided with provision of opening drill pipe, hammer, button bits etc on the centraliser drill table using appropriate wrenches/tools. Stroke about 350mm Torque 200kg/M (approximately).
SWING OUT CENTRALOSER TABLE
The working table/centraliser is having a minimum table opening of 400mm. The centraliser table has to be set above the tractor chassis to prevent the drill cuttings falling back into the hole.
DUST CURTAIN
A rubberized curtain (dust curtain) is provided to protect the operators from falling of stone cuttings or splashing of water during drilling or blowing.
AUX WINCH
The mast is equipped with the hydraulically operated winch having jib boom for handling of drill pipes, hammers, and heavy tools. The rated capacity of the hydraulic hoist is 1000 kg with built in brakes and is provided with suitable sized cable of necessary length. The winch is operated simultaneously when drilling is carried out for handling drill pipes etc.

Hydro-Fracturing Process
Hydro-Fracturing is process by which water is forced into an existing bore well to pressurise, open out and clean out of non-water producing veins in the earth strata thereby opening a clear path of water to flow into the well increasing the overall water yield.
Principles of Hydro-fracturing
• The Pascal Law states that, when hydraulic pressure is applied in any closed body, it acts in all directions and is equal in all points. Therefore when the high-pressure water is injected in the isolated section of the bore-well, the hydraulic pressure acting is equal.
• The injected water flows in the least resistance path and therefore the inter-section of fractures or opening of the fractures takes place in the weakest zone.
Hydro-Fracturing Process
Hydro-fracturing process stimulates hydro-geological conditions of a bore-well as follows.
• Initiation and propagation of new fractures.
• The existing drainage channels accumulated by clay are cleaned.
• The pre-existing fractures are widened and smoothened.
• Improves smooth and free flow to and within the conduit system.
In a typical dry/low yielding bore well the water borne Fracture zones are identified and are subjected to high pressure water pumping to initiate, propagate, widen and extend the existing fractures.
The water pumped in the bore well under high pressure up to 3000 PSI (Pounds per Sq. inch) breaks up fissures, fractures, cracks and cleans away mud and other impurities, blockages and leads to contact with adjacent Water bearing fractures and bodies, there by improving the over all yield as the fractures are exposed to larger and extensive conduit system of fractures / aquifers.
Hydro-Fracturing is also the most effective tool for ground water recharging.A typical Hydro-fracturing process / Methodology adopted by our company for an assured success
Initially general hydro-geological survey of the area of the selected bore well is conducted.
1. Identification of Fractures / Fracture Zone in the selected bore-well by drillers log, down-hole video inspection or by geo-physical logging.
2. Pre-yield pumping test.
3. Hydro-fracturing.
4. Post-yield pumping test.
Identification of Fractures
Driller’s logs and Geo-physical logging is sufficient to identify the fractures. However, by video inspection through down-hole TV camera it can be determined for
• The present condition & actual depth of the bore-well.
• The number of fractures present and its disposition.
• The location of clean/even surfaces available for packer setting.
Pre-yield pumping test
• With a suitable submersible pump the present actual yield of the selected bore well is determined. Details like drawdown and recovery of static water level is tabulated using electronic water level indicator.
Hydro-fracturing
• The process involves two steps namely Packer setting and high-pressure water pumping.
Packer / Packer setting
• Packer is a tool, which can be inflated and deflated hydraulically.
• A single or dual Packer may be chosen.
• This packer seals the bore-well but allows water to be pumped through a pipe passing through the packer.
• The packer is inflated hydraulically to seal the bore-well at the desired depth of fracture zone already determined by video inspection.
• The packer is generally set at 20 to 30 feet below the casing pipe or 70 to 80 feet from the ground level (to avoid weathered zone if, the depth of the casing pipe is less).
• Dual packers are used to affect and develop only the desired fracture zones chosen. Here two packers are spaced at the desired distance apart to isolate certain segments of the identified fracture zones and water is injected only between these two packers.
High Pressure water pumping
• This is carried out through a high pressure Hydro-frac pump capable of generating up to 3000 PSI (Pounds per square inch).
• Water of approx. 1500 gallons is pumped into the bore-well (through the packer piping), thus forcing the water into existing fractures at a rate faster than the fracture can accept it, there by opening and clearing the fracture paths.
• When the water is expended, the packer is dropped to a further depth of 70 to 80 feet and the process is repeated.
• Depending upon the depth of the bore-well, normally three Hydro-fracturing setting are carried out for assured result.
Post-yield pumping Test
• Is similar to pre-yield pumping test. A flow test is recorded to determine the overall improvement of the yield.
• Average Hydro-Fracturing Operational time is 3 to 4 Hours per Bore-well.
JCR DRILLSOL’ Hydro-Fracturing Unit
`JCR DRILLSOL model JCR HFU-1’ is a truck mounted Well Rehabilitation Unit designed for Hydro-fracturing of low yield bore-wells of 6 and 6½-inch diameter in hard rock formations. It also consists of yield test pumping unit with necessary instruments and tools.

JCR HFU-1 is Hydraulically driven Hydro-Fracturing Unit operated through a transfer gearbox assembly thus eliminating an additional prime mover, space, weight and cost.
Availability of Down Hole TV Camera to identify visually the fracture zones of best result and to prevent blind entry into the unknown bore-well and dangerous setting of packer. Also, exact depth & distortion of casing pipe, static water level and bore-well depth are visualised thus eliminating any erroneous drillers log and geo-physical logging.
A separate Flow control valve is provided to engage/disengage the high pressure Hydro-frac pump ‘alone’ from the hydraulic circuit during any wrong / dangerous setting of packer.

NW Drilling (CORE 54.0MM) /NX Casting (88.9MM drilling) 150M (SI) 500 Feet (FSI), 50M SI 150Feet (FPS) respectively.

MAST STRUCTURES
Sturdy structural channel type mast of welded construction, main members made out of heavy duty structural steel channels reinforced with suitable cross members, with Mast length of 5500 mm, Rotary head travel of 4500mm, centralizer Opening of 200mm i.e. (10 inches), Max. rod handling capacity of 3 meters and Raising and lowering with the help of Hydraulic Cylinder.
TOP HEAD ROTARY DRIVE
Heavy duty hydraulically driven top head driven by single motor (OMT 200/orbital) with travels on the mast constructed to with stand the drilling shock loads its speed ranges from 0-500 rpm and torque of 60 kgm through spur gears.
FEED SYSTEM
Feed system is provided with adequate travel for handling drill pipes up to 3 Mtrs Long. The feed and hoist are actuated by a suitable hydraulic cylinder with wire rope and pulley arrangement. The feed system has a Pull up force of 4500 kgf, pull down force of 2400kgf, pull up speed of 40M/Min pull down speed of 65 M/Min and Reeving Ratio i.e. (wire rope) of 1:3.
The feed system will be incorporated with hold back arrangement to control and limit weight on bit, rapid and slow feed arrangement to suit the variable ground conditions.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Hydraulic System has a Capacity of Maximum Operating Pressure of 160 kg/cm2with a Hydraulic Tank Capacity of 300 Lts, Filtration(Nom) Return line of 10 microns and a Hydraulic Oil Cooler of 40GPM 2250 PSI(Fin type oil to Air).
PRIME MOVER
Power required for the rig Hydraulics shall be drawn from the tractor engine (75 HP) through P.T.O.
STABILIZERS
System consists of three Hydraulics levelling jacks with reverse flow restricted valves to ensure safe operation. Two numbers are at the front (Operator) of the rig controlled by two separate valves and one jack in the rear side of the rig controlled by a single valve.
BREAKOUT WRENCH
The Drill Rig is equipped with 300mm (3 inch) Stroke of 80mm (12) Bore Hydraulically operated break out wrench for breaking drill pipes.
WATER INJECTION PUMP
The drill rig will be provided with hydraulically operated triplex Reciprocating pump of capacity 36 lpm 580psi for injecting water/foam with necessary piping and flow control valve.
WINCH CAPACITY
Hydraulic operated wire line winch is mounted on mast to handle the casing pipes and other handling tool has the capacity for line pull (bare drum): 800 kgf, and for line speed (bare drum) 40 Mt. /min
AIR COMPRESSOR
Trailor Mounted of 450cfm/200 psi capacity can be used for carrying out the DTH drilling activity with suitable toeing arrangement.
AIR LINE LUBRICATOR
Air line lubricator capacity of 600cfm/200psi shall be mounted for the supply of lubricating oil to the hammer.

Description
JCR TM400, DTHR is a Tractor drilling rig mounted on a tractor model New Holland 7500 4WD (75HP) (274309) with Top Drive all Hydraulically Operated Drilling Rig extracting main power from Tractor Engine, is capable of drilling using DTH method to Depth of 150 Mtrs.
DTH DRILLING CAPACITY
a) 4 ½” (115mm) dia holes upto a depth of 150 mtrs in Rock Formation.
b) 6 ½” (165mm) dia holes upto a depth of 125 mtrs in Rock Formation.
c) 8 ½” (216mm) dia holes upto a depth of 30 mtrs in Soil/Unconsolidated.
d) 9 7/8” /12 ¼” dia holes with R.R. Bits up to a depth of 20 Mtrs by Rotary method.

Feed system is provided with adequate travel for handling drill pipes up to 3 Mtrs Long. The feed and hoist are actuated by a suitable hydraulic cylinder with wire rope and pulley arrangement. The feed system has a Pull up force of 5000 kgf i.e.(1100 Pounds), pull down force of 3000kgf i.e.( 6600 Pounds, pull up speed of 15M/Min pull down speed of 34 M/Min and Reeving Ratio i.e. (wire rope) of 1:2.

Wagon drill suitable for drilling of dia 3 ½" (90mm) to 5" (127mm) to a depth of 30mtrs under favourable drilling conditions. The drill is capable of drilling vertical to horizontal holes. The drill is constructed out of rugged standard steel sections, well treated parts, perfectly matched design and production systems to make the drill work for longer hours with best efficiency. The Wagon drill shall be provided with pneumatic cylinder (Mast) winch and rotation units. Self propulsion unit, Hydraulic system, Pneumatic system, Control Panel with set of hoses, Stabilizers, Centralizers and set of Spanners. All the parts are assembled together and mounted on three jeep wheels and can be towed efficiently. The feed been is capable of handling 5 feet drill tube. Com pressor- ELGI or equivalent
